Recovery Continues With the New Year
Everyone seems to slowly be getting back to normal. The day after Mason's puke-fest he seemed to be okay. He was eating more normally and everyone was generally happy except that morning, as feared, Mason got up at 2:45a and was ready for the day. Once that crisis was resolved everything was going okay.
Monday morning rolled around and started with Chase barking at ants and that's when the world began to fall apart. Chasing continued to orally expel everything that went in and Mason started shooting the cat again. Mason seemed to be recovering again by evening, but Chase continued his liquid confetti party until almost 2:00a. Even the tiniest sips of water wouldn't stick. The hardest part is that he was begging and pleading for water all night until he fell asleep. "Daddy, can I please have some water? Just a tiny bit? Just a tiny bit? Pleeeease? Just a tiny bit?" For hours, almost non-stop. It was very sad because he didn't understand that eating and drinking made him sick, but you know he's dying of thirst. On top of that he was having breathing issues. I finally got some ibuprofen to stay down and once he took his breathing treatment with the nebulizer he settled in for the night and all was okay.
Everyone now seems to be fully recovered and fortunately Jaxon never tossed anything. I have to say, though, that I don't think I've ever changed so many number 3's in my life. (If you want more details just e-mail me.)
