There's so much excitement going on around here it's hard to find a minute to post something new. Or maybe I can find a minute but don't have the energy to do it. The result is the same.

So, we're in our new house trying to get settled. We're slowly getting boxes unpacked and things put away, but we're still a long way from being finished. Although we were excited to finally get into the new house, we were not excited about the doggie business cards that were left all over the back lawn. We even asked if they would please remove the mess before leaving and they did not. The drama between us and the previous owners is a long and uninteresting story, so let me just say that this exemplifies how the transaction went. But now we're in and moving on.

We went to the Busath Family Reunion on the 19th over in Sacramento. After the craziness of the moving process all week it was good to leave the house and boxes and do something else. The babies and Chase traveled well and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. Chase ate a lot of Dum Dums, which were available on all the tables there. Even after returning home he was still pulling Dum Dums from who-knows-where. The event was well-planned and I think everyone had a good time. Unfortunately, I think gas prices kept a few people from making it...
