I'll start with a Chupdate. Chase now has eight teeth. Four on the top and four on the bottom (of his mouth). His top teeth aren't really visible when you look at him, but if you lift his top lip you would swear you're looking into the mouth of Jaws (the shark or the guy from James Bond - it doesn't matter).

The most exciting progress is in the area of walking. Chase has always loved standing up and walking. It was sometimes a source of frustration because he wouldn't sit. We would try to sit him down but he would keep his whole body completely stiff because he wanted to stand. His love of walking made it difficult to get him to crawl. Even with these challenges we were able to get him crawling, which he now does very well. The problem we were having is that he liked crawling so much that we couldn't get him to stand, let alone walk.Knowing that he was close to walking, we tried to help him walk whenever possible, but were quickly shot down by his crawling antics.

Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, Chase decided he's ready to walk and now tries to walk around the house whenever possible. He just started pulling himself up with the couch and then walking off. It's been exciting and fun, but I'm still struggling to understand what makes him want to crawl, walk or otherwise.
