Over the mountain and through the woods
Mike and I drove to Folsom yesterday for Lorin Fleming's funeral. The Fleming's have always been good friends, so Lorin's passing was especially sad. The service was very good and well-attended. It was good to see their family again, although the circumstances caused the occasion to be very somber. My parents and others from our old 5th ward were there.
The drive was nice, although a misunderstanding caused our drive there to be somewhat stressful. We though the services started at 10a, but they didn't actually start until 11a. We pulled into the parking lot at 9:59a quite panicked, but our fears quickly dissolved once we realized we were early.
On the way back we stopped at In-n-Out in Auburn, so the hype of the new one in Reno is a little lost on me. I wasn't going to spend an hour in line today to have yesterday's lunch. Still, I'll be ready and ripe in a couple weeks - hopefully by then it'll be settled down.
