Labor Day Weekend
We had a very mixed Labor Day weekend this year. We spent Saturday moving boxes from our house to the storage unit and then went to a birthday party for someone in our ward who turned 1.
After the birthday party I went by Best Buy and acquired some PS2 games that I've been wanting, but that had previously been too expensive. They dropped below the magic price-point, so they now belong to me. One is Crash Nitro Kart and the other is Viewtiful Joe. Just earlier that morning I was wishing they still made side-scroller games, but I wasn't aware of any. I was excited to find Viewtiful Joe - we'll see if it pans out...
We hiked Mt. Rose yesterday morning. We hit the trail about 8a and hit the peak by about 11a. It was a good hike, but we were all gimpy. Mike and I had gimpy knees and Emilie pulled a muscle. We made it, though.
After getting home from the hike we were saddened to hear about Gary Loveland. He was killed yesterday in a car accident while waiting to cross a street with two of his kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family...
