Richard's posting about ankle socks hit close to home. I regret to say that Champion's socks exhibit the same problem. My feet are significantly larger than Richard's dwarfish size 8 - I'm size 9.5 to 10 - but I have the same problem even though I'm closer to the large end of the sock than Richard.
