Yesterday was a long work day. I came in to work at about 9:00a only to discover that our company had been hit by a virus. Again. Last week we stayed up late patching systems and blocking the Blaster virus and I wasn't really very anxious to do it all over again this week. Nevertheless, we decided it would be best just to patch every system.

Around midnight the others in the group began going home. The work wasn't done, but they went home anyway. My boss and I stayed and worked until the job was done - this ended up being at about 8:00a this morning. If I could have made it one more hour it would have been a fun-filled 24-hour shift.

I went home and slept for about 4 hours and then headed back to work, but I feel like a slug.
